Goodweigh processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

• Consent: To process your health information, we rely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Contract: We process your information for the purpose of fulfilling the contract regarding the weight loss program between you and Goodweigh.
• Legal obligations: Some information is processed to comply with legal obligations, such as the retention of patient records.

How long we retain personal data

Goodweigh does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. The collected personal data is retained for as long as you are registered to use (among other things) our website. After that, the collected data may be retained for historical, statistical, or scientific purposes, in which case Goodweigh strives to store it in a form that no longer allows for your identification. Medical data is retained in accordance with the statutory retention periods for medical records.

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

Goodweigh shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary to fulfill the agreement and to comply with any legal obligations. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. • Partner Pharmacy: To ensure you can obtain the medication you need, we share relevant personal data with our partner pharmacy. This includes sharing your prescriptions and any other necessary medical information. In addition, we may use this information to check for contraindications via the national contact point (LSP). This ensures that the medication is safe to use in combination with other medications you may be taking.
• Prescribing physicians: To ensure optimal treatment, it is sometimes necessary to share your medical information with your treating physician. This allows your doctor to get a complete picture of your health condition and adjust your treatment accordingly. This also includes sharing your patient information as part of the online questionnaire, if you have given your consent.
• Payment Processor: To process your payments securely and efficiently, Goodweigh works with Stripe. When you make a purchase on our website, your payment information (e.g., credit card or bank details) is processed directly by Stripe. Goodweigh does not have access to this payment information. Stripe processes your information in accordance with its own privacy policy and the highest security standards.
• Legal Authorities: If we are legally required to disclose personal information to public authorities or regulatory bodies.
• Third-Party Advertising Services: We may share your personal information with third parties with whom we partner to provide tailored advertising services.
• Service Providers: We share your personal information with various third parties on whom we rely to perform a range of services on our behalf and to expand and improve Goodweigh’s operations, such as: IT service providers (including cloud IT service providers, such as Amazon Web Services), payment system operators (such as Stripe), courier companies for the delivery of your orders (such as PostNL), and all other organizations that provide technical and support services to us.

To ensure that the request for access comes from you, we ask that you include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, you must black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and CPR number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
